Version 3.2 has another useful date after launch. On September 23, the Surprise Screening Plan opens with a selectable Angels of Delusion outfit, an avatar and Polychrome among its check-in rewards. An Area Patrol double-reward event starts the same day. They are separate events with different entry requirements, so an account that can claim one may not yet be able to use the other. There is also no need to buy an Agent just to receive an outfit.

When do the September 23 events begin?

The official Version 3.2 update notice puts Surprise Screening Plan at September 23, 10:00 to October 20, 03:59 server time. It requires Inter-Knot Level 5, completion of the Prologue “The Hare and the Proxy,” and access to the Event feature. Advanced Bounty: Area Patrol runs September 23, 04:00 to September 28, 03:59 server time. For that one, you need Inter-Knot Level 21, the Reputation Rank-Up mission “Path of the Proxy I,” and Area Patrol unlocked. The dates are server time, not automatically your phone's local time; use the in-game event countdown for your account.

How does the free Angels of Delusion outfit work?

Surprise Screening Plan lists an Angels of Delusion outfit of your choice, an avatar, Polychrome and other rewards. The three outfits added in 3.2 are Nangong Yu's “Heartfelt Support,” Aria's “Cuteness Loading,” and Sunna's “Delusions in Business.” They sit within the broader Angels Support Operation, which has its own event page, missions and November 30, 03:59 server-time deadline. That operation requires Inter-Knot Level 20 and completion of Chapter 1 - Intermission. The Level 5 threshold for entering the check-in and the Level 20 threshold for the support operation are not interchangeable.

An outfit is a cosmetic reward, not a free copy of Nangong Yu, Aria or Sunna. You can plan a skin choice around a favorite character without treating it as a banner guarantee. When the check-in opens, read the outfit-selection screen before confirming; then inspect Angels Support Operation for any separate claim step and its deadline. The published update does not give a complete day-by-day reward chart, so an exact Polychrome total for this check-in would be a guess today.

Make the check-ins fit your actual schedule

The event window lasts until October 20, but that does not mean every reward appears in your inbox on day one. Open the Event page on or after September 23 and check which days count, how a missed login is handled, and whether the final reward needs a manual claim. If your account is new, completing the Prologue and unlocking Events is the first hurdle. If you are returning, check the event tab before assuming the outfit was sent by mail. Keep the October 20 check-in deadline and the separate November 30 support-operation deadline on different reminders.

What exactly doubles in Area Patrol?

Advanced Bounty doubles Area Patrol rewards from September 23 through September 27, with the published end at 03:59 server time on September 28. It does not say “double Polychrome,” “double every material stage,” or “free Battery Charge.” Save Battery Charge for Area Patrol only if those drops match a character you are building and the in-game bonus counter still applies. The notice does not specify a daily boosted-run cap; check the live event screen rather than relying on an assumed number. Combat Simulation has a different double-reward event scheduled for October 14–19, so do not farm it expecting this September bonus.

Count the free pulls you can actually claim

The separate All-New Program login event awards 10 Encrypted Master Tapes after seven cumulative login days, through October 20 at 03:59 server time. These are limited Signal Search pulls; they are not the same reward pool as Surprise Screening Plan. Eligible players also have two separate Version 3.2 compensation mails: 300 Polychrome for the update and 300 for issue fixes. Both require that the account reached Inter-Knot Level 4 before September 9 at 06:00 UTC+8. The issue-fix compensation must be claimed by October 9 at 23:59 UTC+8, and mailed attachments expire after 30 days. A new account made after that cutoff should not add these 600 Polychrome to its budget. Boopons from later login events are for Bangboo searches, not limited Agent pulls.

Claret now or Roxy later?

Claret is the current new S-rank Electric Armorer; Roxy is the new S-rank Wind Stun Agent scheduled for the later phase. The official Phase I notice places Claret's banner through September 30, 11:59 server time. If Claret improves a team you already play, check your limited-Agent Signal Search history, guarantee state and current Encrypted Master Tapes before spending. If you mainly want Roxy, a free outfit is not a reason to pull Claret now. Keep W-Engine searches separate from Agent searches when counting a budget, and wait for the in-game Phase II notice for Roxy's exact opening time.

Does topping up change the plan?

Only after you know the shortfall. First count the Tapes already owned, Polychrome already in your account, and rewards you can actually claim before your chosen banner ends. Then set a spending ceiling that still makes sense if the next S-rank is not the featured Agent. Treabar's Zenless Zone Zero top-up page lists Monochrome products and an Inter-Knot Membership, but product availability, region, delivery route and account requirements need checking on the selected offer. Membership value arrives partly through daily claims; it cannot all be treated as instant banner currency. There is no purchase requirement for the September check-in or the double-reward event.

FAQ

Is Surprise Screening Plan live already?

No. The official schedule begins September 23 at 10:00 server time. Check the in-game countdown rather than converting that server time into a universal local hour.

Do I get an Agent with the free outfit?

No. The published reward is an outfit choice, not an Agent selection. The separate Angels Support Operation may have its own claim steps.

Do I need Inter-Knot Level 5 or Level 20?

Level 5 plus the Prologue unlocks Surprise Screening Plan. Angels Support Operation requires Level 20 plus Chapter 1 - Intermission; Area Patrol's bonus requires Level 21 and its own unlocks.

Is the Area Patrol bonus double Polychrome?

No. The official notice says Area Patrol rewards are doubled. It does not promise extra Polychrome or double drops in Combat Simulation.

Can a new account count on 600 compensation Polychrome?

Only accounts that reached Inter-Knot Level 4 before the September 9 cutoff qualified for both 300-Polychrome mails. Check your mailbox and the claim deadlines before counting them.
