Honkai: Star Rail 4.4 Stellar Jade Planner: Pull Income, Banner Timing, and Saving Tips
Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.4 is one of those updates where every pull suddenly feels expensive. The patch is expected to run from July 15, 2026, to around August 25, 2026, giving players a standard 42-day cycle to collect Stellar Jades, Special Star Rail Passes, and Standard Passes.
The pressure comes from the banner lineup. Himeko - Nova is set up as the major new limited character of the version, the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] collaboration brings Gilgamesh and Rin Tohsaka, and the rerun side includes several valuable account-building choices such as Aventurine, Anaxa, Cerydra, Sparxie, Dan Heng - Permansor Terrae, and Evernight.
For most Trailblazers, the real question is simple: how many pulls can you actually collect before the banners end, and which target deserves those pulls first?

Quick Pull Count Summary
Based on the current Version 4.4 reward estimate, players can expect roughly the following total income across the full patch:
| Player type | Stellar Jades | Special Passes | Standard Passes | Estimated limited pulls |
| F2P | 12,665 | 15 | 17 | 94 |
| Express Supply Pass | 16,445 | 15 | 17 | 117 |
| Express Supply Pass + Nameless Glory | 17,125 | 19 | 17 | 126 |
For a fully free-to-play account, 94 limited pulls is enough to reach one 5-star pity cycle. It does not guarantee the featured character if you lose the 50/50, but it gives you a realistic shot at one major target.
For Express Supply Pass users, 117 pulls is much more comfortable. You still should not treat it as a guaranteed limited character from zero pity, but it gives you enough room to survive average luck, especially if you already have pity built from Version 4.3.
For players buying both the Express Supply Pass and Nameless Glory, 126 limited pulls gives the patch a much softer landing. It is still not enough to safely chase multiple characters and Light Cones without savings, but it can support one priority character plus some extra attempts.
Banner Schedule and Pull Pressure
Version 4.4 is unusual because the pull pressure is not concentrated in only one half of the patch. Several high-demand banners overlap, and the Fate collaboration adds a separate emotional priority for many players.
Full-Version Banner: Himeko - Nova

Expected dates: July 15, 2026, through the end of Version 4.4
Character: Himeko - Nova
Role: 5-star Fire Erudition
Himeko - Nova is the safest character to plan around if you want to use the entire patch income before deciding. Because her banner is expected to stay active through the full version, you can collect launch rewards, event rewards, endgame resets, and later patch income before making the final call.
That matters a lot. If you start Version 4.4 with low pity and no guarantee, pulling immediately can put you in a dangerous spot before the Fate collaboration begins. If Himeko - Nova is your favorite or your account needs a Fire Erudition damage dealer, she is still a strong target, but her longer banner window gives you more patience than the rerun phases.
Fate Collaboration: Gilgamesh and Rin Tohsaka

Expected start date: July 24, 2026
Characters: Gilgamesh and Rin Tohsaka
The Fate collaboration is the hardest part of the patch to budget for because it competes with both meta value and collection value. Collaboration characters often create a different kind of urgency: even players who normally skip damage dealers may want them for the crossover itself.
If you are choosing between Gilgamesh, Rin Tohsaka, and Himeko - Nova, avoid splitting pulls too early. Pick one guaranteed goal first, then treat the second character as a bonus unless you already have savings from previous versions.
Phase 1 Reruns

Expected dates: July 15, 2026, to August 5, 2026
Characters: Sparxie, Dan Heng - Permansor Terrae, Evernight
Estimated phase income: Around 69 to 81 pulls, depending on spending and clear status
Phase 1 should feel generous because most launch rewards arrive here. Maintenance compensation, login rewards, early exploration, new missions, and first event rewards usually frontload a lot of currency.
The danger is that Phase 1 also overlaps with the beginning of the full-version Himeko - Nova banner. If you spend heavily on reruns before July 24, you may enter the Fate collaboration with a much thinner budget than expected.
Phase 2 Reruns

Expected dates: August 5, 2026, to the end of Version 4.4
Characters: Cerydra, Anaxa, Aventurine
Estimated phase income: Around 25 to 45 pulls, depending on spending and available content
Phase 2 is lighter because most one-time launch rewards will already be claimed. At this point, income depends more on daily training, weekly resets, remaining event stages, late exploration, and endgame clears.
For account strength, Aventurine may be the most practical rerun if you lack a premium sustain. Damage dealers are exciting, but a strong sustain often improves far more teams at once. If your account already has reliable survivability, Cerydra or Anaxa may become more attractive depending on your roster.
Where the Stellar Jades Come From
The 94-pull F2P estimate assumes that you stay active across the full patch. Missing daily training, skipping events, or leaving endgame uncleared can reduce the total noticeably.
Daily and Weekly Income
Daily training is the backbone of the patch:
| Reward item | Estimated reward |
| Daily Training, 42 days | 2,520 Stellar Jades |
| Weekly DU/CW-style resets | 1,350 Stellar Jades + 6 Standard Passes |
| August shop reset | 5 Special Passes + 5 Standard Passes |
| Character trials | 180 Stellar Jades |
The daily number looks small on its own, but over six weeks it becomes more than fifteen pulls. If you are trying to guarantee one banner target, daily training is the least glamorous and most important part of the plan.
One-Time Version Rewards
Version 4.4 is also expected to include a large amount of one-time income from new content and system updates:
| Reward item | Estimated reward |
| New missions | Around 900 Stellar Jades |
| New area exploration | Around 900 Stellar Jades |
| Currency Wars update | Around 520 Stellar Jades |
| New achievements | 305 Stellar Jades |
| Maintenance compensation | 600 Stellar Jades |
| Special Program codes | 300 Stellar Jades |
| Other redemption codes | 110 Stellar Jades |
| HoYoLAB check-in | 80 Stellar Jades |
| Furbobocom rewards | 100 Stellar Jades + 1 Standard Pass |
The exploration and mission rewards are especially important for players who want to pull in Phase 1. If you do not plan to rush the new area, your practical Phase 1 income may be lower than the headline estimate.

Limited Events and Endgame Rewards
Version 4.4's limited-time events are expected to carry a large share of the patch income:
| Event or mode | Estimated reward |
| Gift of Odyssey | 10 Special Star Rail Passes |
| Antigraft Brickbuster | 860 Stellar Jades |
| Fate/Star Rail Night | 1,240 Stellar Jades |
| AS + PF + MoC + SM rotations | 2,700 Stellar Jades |
This is where account strength begins to matter. Event rewards are usually accessible to most active players, but endgame rewards depend on your roster, relic quality, and willingness to full clear every rotation. If your account cannot consistently clear Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, Apocalyptic Shadow, or similar high-difficulty modes, reduce your expected total before planning a guarantee.
In other words, the 94-pull F2P estimate is best treated as an active-player ceiling, not a passive login total.
Can F2P Players Guarantee a 4.4 Character?
From zero pity and no guarantee, 94 pulls does not guarantee a limited 5-star character. It gives you enough to hit pity once, but if you lose the 50/50, you will need more pulls to secure the featured unit.
The situation changes if you have any of the following:
· A guaranteed featured character carried over from a previous banner
· Existing pity from Version 4.3
· Saved Stellar Jades before Version 4.4 begins
· Express Supply Pass income
· Unfinished permanent content from earlier versions
If you are at 30 to 40 pity with a guarantee, Version 4.4 becomes very comfortable. If you are at zero pity with no guarantee and want both a collaboration character and Himeko - Nova, you will need strong luck or previous savings.
Best Pull Strategy for Version 4.4
The cleanest approach is to divide the patch into three budgets: a guarantee budget, a favorite budget, and a Light Cone budget.
If You Want Himeko - Nova
Himeko - Nova benefits from patience. Since her banner is expected to last through the full version, you can wait until you see the Fate collaboration details, test her trial, and collect more rewards before committing.
Pull early only if she is your top priority and you are comfortable skipping collaboration units if your luck goes badly.
If You Want Gilgamesh or Rin Tohsaka
Save until the Fate collaboration begins on July 24, 2026. Do not let Phase 1 reruns drain your account unless you are willing to skip the collaboration.
If you want both Gilgamesh and Rin Tohsaka, set realistic expectations. Even the 126-pull paid-pass estimate is not enough to guarantee two limited characters from scratch.
If You Need Account Strength
Prioritize the role your account lacks most:
| Account need | Better pull direction |
| Fire AoE damage | Himeko - Nova |
| Collaboration collection | Gilgamesh or Rin Tohsaka |
| Premium sustain | Aventurine |
| More rerun flexibility | Wait for Phase 2 |
| Signature Light Cones | Pull only after securing the character |
For many accounts, the smartest meta choice is not always the newest DPS. If your teams already have several strong carries but struggle to survive endgame, Aventurine may be worth more than another damage dealer. If your account lacks Fire coverage or AoE pressure, Himeko - Nova becomes more valuable.
Final Verdict
Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.4 should give active F2P players about 94 limited pulls, Express Supply Pass users about 117 pulls, and Express Supply Pass plus Nameless Glory users about 126 pulls. That makes the patch generous, but not generous enough to chase everything.
The best plan is to choose one primary target before the version starts. Himeko - Nova has the advantage of a full-version banner, the Fate collaboration has the strongest limited-time appeal, and reruns like Aventurine may offer the biggest account-wide upgrade. If your pity is low and your guarantee is not ready, keep your first 80 to 90 pulls focused on one character. The moment you split your savings across three banners, Version 4.4 gets much more dangerous.
