Yangyang: Xuanling is one of the most resource-hungry releases in Wuthering Waves Version 3.5, especially if you plan to raise her as a complete main DPS rather than stopping at a partial build. Character ascension, Forte nodes, her signature Sword Frostburn, Weekly Boss materials, Forgery Challenge materials, and Mengzhou local specialties all consume resources at the same time, so it is easy to have most of the build ready while still being blocked by one small material.
This planner gathers the key Yangyang Xuanling materials in one place so you can decide what to farm first, what to buy each week, and which resources can wait until after you confirm your final investment level. If you are short on time, prioritize Cloudperch Seed, Solidarity's Loneflame, and Skyward Glazed Heart first. Local specialties and boss materials are the most affected by refresh and weekly limits, while normal enemy drops can usually be farmed in focused sessions.

If you only want Xuanling usable on release day, level 70 or 80 is the more practical milestone. Level 90 is still worthwhile for a long-term main DPS, but the final ascension step competes heavily with Forte and weapon upgrades.
Where to Farm Cloudperch Seed
Cloudperch Seed is a Mengzhou local specialty. You can collect it around Mengzhou, and you can also buy a limited weekly stock from Huaxu Apothecary for 3,000 Shell Credit each. The shop restock is useful, but if you want to gather all 60 quickly, you still need to run the collection route.
The smoother preparation method is to buy the weekly shop stock first, then run your Mengzhou collection route. This reduces the number of world refreshes needed and lets Xuanling reach a buildable state faster.
Where to Farm Solidarity's Loneflame
Solidarity's Loneflame comes from the ascension boss Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis, located in Western Fang Peaks in Mengzhou, Huanglong. Since Xuanling needs 46 copies to reach level 90, this is one of the highest Waveplate costs in her entire build path.
Before over-investing in general materials, confirm how many of this boss material you have. If you stop at level 80 for a while, you can delay part of the Solidarity's Loneflame farming and spend Waveplates on Forte or weapon materials first.
Yangyang Xuanling Forte Materials
Maxing Xuanling's Forte costs more than her character ascension. This is where the demand for Autopuppet Kernel and Wing Polarizer rises sharply, and it is also where the Weekly Boss material schedule matters.

Do not rush to max every Forte line immediately. A more practical main DPS approach is to upgrade the core parts that support her rotation and main damage window first, then return to lower-value nodes later.

These upgrades are easy to miss because they are not included in the simple level 2-10 skill table. Add them to your plan early, especially the extra Skyward Glazed Heart copies.
Where to Farm Wing Polarizer
Broken Wing Polarizer, Monowing Polarizer, Polywing Polarizer, and Layered Wing Polarizer come from Forgery Challenges. Track the relevant dungeon through the Guidebook or material menu, then spend Waveplates on the highest difficulty you can clear consistently and efficiently.
Because both Xuanling's Forte and Frostburn require Wing Polarizer, do not calculate the two parts separately and forget to combine them. If you plan to build both the character and her signature weapon, the final Polarizer demand is much higher than the Forte table alone suggests.
Where to Farm Autopuppet Kernel
Autopuppet Kernel drops from Autopuppet enemies in Mengzhou. You can track them from the material menu or Guidebook, then follow the map route to clear the corresponding enemies.
If you are missing higher-tier Kernels, check whether you can convert lower-tier drops through synthesis first. Lower-tier enemy materials usually accumulate quickly, and when you only need a few HF or FF materials, synthesis saves more time than running the full route again.
Where to Farm Skyward Glazed Heart
Skyward Glazed Heart is a Weekly Boss material from Thousand-Puppet Pavilion, with the boss located at Court of Shackled Souls. After the relevant version content is available, it may also be obtainable through an early challenge entry.
Weekly Boss materials are the least flexible part of Xuanling's Forte plan. If you are pre-farming, clear Thousand-Puppet Pavilion first each week, then use any remaining Waveplates on materials that can be farmed at any time.
Frostburn Signature Weapon Materials
Frostburn is Yangyang Xuanling's signature Sword. To raise it from level 0 to 90, prepare the following materials.

The weapon itself costs less than a full Forte build, but it uses the same Forgery Challenge material family. If you plan to pull Frostburn, include its Polarizer cost in your weekly farming target so you do not finish the character materials only to find that the weapon is also blocked.

Before Yangyang Xuanling arrives, divide your inventory check into three categories: character ascension, Forte upgrades, and Frostburn. The easiest mistake is fully farming one category while forgetting shared resources like Wing Polarizer or Shell Credit.
Prepare Cloudperch Seed, Solidarity's Loneflame, and Skyward Glazed Heart first, then fill in Forgery Challenge and enemy-drop materials. Once those resources are ready, the rest of the build can be paced more smoothly across daily Waveplate spending.
