How Suoming Works
Suoming's gameplay revolves around enhanced states, Delusion, Deep Mind, and Unison. The exact names may look dense at first, but her practical decision tree is simple: once she gains Unison, decide whether she should hand the field to another Resonator or spend the window on herself.
Route 1: Switch Out and Buff the Main DPS
When Suoming leaves the field while holding Unison, she can trigger her Outro and bring in the next Resonator's Intro. In this route, her value comes from Electro damage amplification, Resonance Skill damage support, and coordinated follow-up damage after she swaps away.
This is the preferred route for Hsin teams. Hsin benefits from Electro-focused support and frequent swap interaction, while Suoming can keep contributing through Thunder Crest-style coordinated attacks after leaving the field.
Route 2: Stay On Field and Spend Unison
Suoming can also consume her own Unison through her Resonance Skill to activate a stronger personal damage mode. This route pushes her toward an on-field DPS pattern built around enhanced Basic Attacks, Forte damage, and a longer field window.
The trade-off is important. The same Unison window cannot be fully used for both support handoff and personal burst. Before you press the key Resonance Skill or swap out, decide which route the current rotation needs.

Best Echo Sets for Suoming
Best Overall: 5-pc Heart of Sworn Vigil
Heart of Sworn Vigil is the safest Echo set to prepare for Suoming. Its 2-piece bonus provides Electro damage, while its current 5-piece effect can be triggered through Unison or Unison Response conditions. That makes it easy for Suoming to maintain in her natural rotation.
This set also works for both major builds:
1. Sub-DPS Suoming: uses it while supporting Hsin and contributing coordinated damage.
2. On-field Suoming: uses it to increase her own Electro damage and Crit consistency.
If you only want to farm one set before Version 3.7, make it Heart of Sworn Vigil.
Support Option: 5-pc Flash of Electric Reflection
Flash of Electric Reflection is worth watching for Hsin teams because its current design can pass Electro damage benefits to the incoming Resonator after an Outro-style handoff.
The issue is the trigger condition. Current wording suggests the wearer may need to inflict Electro Flare, and Suoming's present kit does not clearly guarantee that she can apply Electro Flare herself. Because of that, do not spend all your tuning resources on this set until launch confirms the interaction.
Temporary Option: Void Thunder
Void Thunder is a solid bridge set if you already have strong pieces. It offers straightforward Electro damage and can carry Suoming while you farm Heart of Sworn Vigil.
Use Void Thunder temporarily if its substats are much better than your new set. A high-quality temporary set will usually beat a rushed 5-piece with weak Crit rolls.

With Unspoken Rue, Red Spring, or Emerald of Genesis, Suoming already gets Crit Rate from her weapon. In that case, a Crit DMG 4-Cost Echo is usually easier to balance. If you use Lumingloss or another non-Crit weapon, Crit Rate on the 4-Cost slot becomes much more valuable.
Double Electro DMG is the cleanest 3-Cost setup. If your Electro pieces are weak or your ATK is too low, one Electro DMG piece plus one ATK% piece can be acceptable as a transition.

If you are unsure how much Energy Regen you need, start with your best damage pieces first. After testing the rotation, add Energy Regen only if Liberation timing feels inconsistent.
Best Suoming Resonance Chains
Suoming does not appear to need Resonance Chains to function. Her S0 kit already has the essential Unison support route and the personal damage route.
S0: Complete Base Kit
S0 is the right stopping point for most players. You can build Suoming as Hsin's partner, a flexible Electro Sub-DPS, or a partial on-field damage dealer without needing extra chains.
S2: Best Early Stopping Point
