Wuthering Waves Version 3.4 is a compact but unusually busy update. It combines the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration with the debut of Lucilla, a Cartethyia rerun, a free copy of Rebecca, special collaboration currencies, and a shortened reward cycle.

For players planning their Astrite, the headline estimate is:

· Free-to-play: about 106 total pulls

· With Lunite Subscription: about 126 total pulls

· With Lunite Subscription and Pioneer Podcast: about 137 total pulls

There is one important catch: these totals combine Astrite with several different Tide types. The full number cannot be spent on a single banner. Collaboration pulls, standard limited-character pulls, weapon pulls, and permanent-banner pulls must be budgeted separately.

Wuthering Waves 3.4 Release and Banner Schedule

Version 3.4 went live on June 8, 2026. Its main banner period runs through July 9, while the version content graphic lists maintenance on July 10 as the end of the patch window.

Convene Type Schedule Currency Key detail
Lucy Collaboration Resonator Convene June 8-July 9, 2026 Dreamcatcher Tide Separate collaboration pity
Rebecca Collaboration Resonator Convene June 8-July 9, 2026 Dreamcatcher Tide One copy is free at Union Level 10
Lucilla Limited Resonator Convene June 13-July 9, 2026 Radiant Tide New 5-star Glacio Rectifier user
Cartethyia Limited Resonator rerun June 18-July 9, 2026 Radiant Tide Returning 5-star Aero Sword user
Collaboration weapons Collaboration Weapon Convenes June 8-July 9, 2026 Shadowforge Tide Separate from ordinary weapon currency
Standard limited weapons Featured Weapon Convenes Banner-dependent Forging Tide Used for Lucilla and Cartethyia weapons

Lucy and Rebecca: Special Collaboration Banners

Lucy and Rebecca use Dreamcatcher Tide, not Radiant Tide. Their signature weapon banners use Shadowforge Tide, not Forging Tide.

The collaboration banners follow their own pity record. Pity on Lucy or Rebecca does not become pity for Lucilla or Cartethyia, and standard limited-banner pity does not transfer into the collaboration pool.

Players should claim the free Rebecca before spending. A first copy becomes available after reaching Union Level 10, so pulling Rebecca's banner is mainly relevant for additional copies or players pursuing her collaboration weapon.

Lucilla and Cartethyia

Lucilla arrives on June 13 as a new 5-star Glacio Rectifier Resonator. Cartethyia's rerun begins on June 18. Both run until July 9 and use the normal limited-character system with Radiant Tides.

Because all four featured characters overlap for most of the patch, waiting until June 18 gives players the clearest view of every available option before committing Astrite.

Wuthering Waves 3.4 Total Pull Count

The following estimate assumes consistent logins, full event completion, broad exploration, code and mail claims, and strong enough teams to collect all listed endgame rewards.

Player type Astrite Dreamcatcher Tide Radiant Tide Lustrous Tide Forging Tide Estimated total
Free-to-play 9,605 20 7 12 7 106 pulls
Lunite Subscription 12,805 20 7 12 7 126 pulls
Lunite + Pioneer Podcast 13,485 20 12 14 7 137 pulls

The calculation converts Astrite at 160 Astrite per pull and then adds the direct Tide rewards:

· F2P: 9,605 Astrite = 60 pulls with 5 Astrite remaining; 60 + 20 + 7 + 12 + 7 = 106

· Lunite: 12,805 Astrite = 80 pulls with 5 remaining; total = 126

· Lunite + battle pass: 13,485 Astrite = 84 pulls with 45 remaining; total = 137

Why 106 Pulls Does Not Mean 106 Pulls for Lucy

The F2P total includes:

· 20 Dreamcatcher Tides for Lucy or Rebecca

· 7 Radiant Tides for Lucilla or Cartethyia

· 12 Lustrous Tides for the permanent character banner

· 7 Forging Tides for ordinary featured weapon banners

· 9,605 Astrite, which can be converted according to the player's chosen target

If Lucy is the only goal, the practical collaboration budget is the 20 free Dreamcatcher Tides plus however much Astrite the player converts. Lustrous and Forging Tides cannot help complete Lucy's character pity.

Where the 9,605 F2P Astrite Comes From

The estimate can be divided into regular gameplay, one-time rewards, and Version 3.4 events.

Regular Rewards: 5,520 Astrite

Source Estimated reward Assumption
Daily Activity 1,920 Astrite 60 per day for 32 days
Whimpering Wastes 1,600 Astrite Two full reward cycles
Tower of Adversity 800 Astrite One full clear
Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways 800 Astrite Five weekly clears
Endstate Matrix 400 Astrite One full clear
Regular subtotal 5,520 Astrite Maximum listed rewards

Daily Activity is the least demanding part of the total. The 3,600 Astrite assigned to rotating endgame modes is much more account-dependent. New or casual accounts should lower their personal estimate if they cannot fully clear these modes.

One-Time Rewards: 1,755 Astrite

Source Estimated reward
Somnoire: Night City exploration and trophies 255 Astrite
Maintenance, bug-fix, livestream, Discord, and Twitch rewards 1,050 Astrite
Version 3.4 main story 300 Astrite
Tactical Hologram and skill-trial rewards 150 Astrite
One-time subtotal 1,755 Astrite

Mail and code rewards deserve special attention. Compensation mail usually has a generous claim window, but livestream codes, community check-ins, and Twitch Drops may expire much earlier. Players joining late should not automatically count every 1,050 Astrite in their remaining budget.

Version 3.4 Event Rewards: 2,330 Astrite and 20 Dreamcatcher Tides

Event Estimated reward
Night City Roaming 250 Astrite + 5 Dreamcatcher Tides
Matrix Reform 400 Astrite
Dream of Azure Sky 300 Astrite
Gifts of Dreamchasers 15 Dreamcatcher Tides
Depths of Illusive Realm: Dreamchasers 800 Astrite
Startorch Racing, Rerun! 500 Astrite
Character trial events 80 Astrite
Event subtotal 2,330 Astrite + 20 Dreamcatcher Tides

The two direct collaboration-pull sources are especially valuable. Night City Roaming gives five Dreamcatcher Tides, while Gifts of Dreamchasers gives another 15 through its login track. Missing these rewards creates a larger collaboration-banner loss than missing an event that only pays Astrite.

How Many Pulls Should You Save?

Wuthering Waves limited-character banners can require up to 80 pulls for a 5-star. If the first 5-star is not the featured Resonator, a conservative zero-pity budget for a guarantee is 160 pulls, or 25,600 Astrite.

Goal Conservative budget
Reach one 5-star Up to 80 pulls
Guarantee one featured character from zero pity Up to 160 pulls
One featured character with 40 pity and a guarantee Up to 40 more pulls
Character plus signature weapon Calculate each banner separately

Before converting Astrite, check:

· Current pity on the standard limited Resonator banner

· Whether the next 5-star is guaranteed

· Separate pity on the collaboration banner

· Existing Dreamcatcher, Shadowforge, Radiant, and Forging Tides

· The expiration rules shown in each collaboration shop or Convene notice

Best Pull Strategy for Version 3.4

1. Claim Free Rebecca First

Do not spend Dreamcatcher Tides merely to obtain Rebecca's first copy. Reach Union Level 10, claim her, test her, and only then decide whether extra copies or her weapon are worth the collaboration currency.

2. Keep Collaboration and Standard Budgets Separate

Treat Lucy and Rebecca as one budget and Lucilla and Cartethyia as another. Writing down two separate pity counts prevents the common mistake of assuming that progress on one banner protects spending on the other.

3. Prioritize Characters Before Weapons

For most F2P and low-spending accounts, a new Resonator changes team options more than a signature weapon. Collaboration weapons also consume Shadowforge Tide, adding another isolated currency track.

4. Wait Until All Banners Are Live

Lucilla begins June 13 and Cartethyia begins June 18. Unless Lucy or Rebecca is an immediate must-pull, waiting until June 18 lets players compare every featured character and test available trials.

5. Discount the Maximum Estimate

The 106-pull figure is a maximum-style estimate. A safer personal budget removes rewards from endgame modes you cannot fully clear, codes you missed, unfinished exploration, and events you may not complete.

Who Should You Pull?

Pull Lucy if:

· The Cyberpunk collaboration is your top priority

· You value a potentially rare crossover character

· You are comfortable investing in a separate pity system

· You can still preserve enough Astrite for later targets

Invest further in Rebecca if:

· You have already claimed the free copy

· You enjoy her gameplay after testing her

· Her additional copies provide more value than a new character

· You accept the opportunity cost of using collaboration pulls

Pull Lucilla if:

· You want the new Version 3.4 Resonator

· Your roster benefits from a Glacio Rectifier user

· You have useful pity or a guarantee on the standard limited banner

· You prefer standard banner currency over the isolated collaboration system

Pull Cartethyia if:

· You missed her first banner

· You already have teammates and equipment prepared for her

· Your account needs an Aero Sword damage option

· A proven rerun character is more useful than a new or crossover unit

Consider saving if:

· You cannot guarantee your chosen target

· Your current teams already cover the same roles

· You mainly want Rebecca and can use the free copy

· You are relying on the full 106-pull estimate despite missing high-difficulty rewards

Frequently Asked Questions

When did Wuthering Waves 3.4 release?

Version 3.4 released on June 8, 2026. Its featured banners run through July 9, with the patch transition shown for July 10.

How many pulls can F2P players get in Version 3.4?

The reference estimate is 106 total pulls, made up of 9,605 Astrite and 46 direct Tides across four currency types. It assumes near-complete participation and full listed endgame rewards.

Is Rebecca free?

Yes. Players can claim one copy of Rebecca after reaching Union Level 10. Her banner remains available for additional copies.

Can Radiant Tides be used on Lucy?

No. Lucy and Rebecca require Dreamcatcher Tide. Their collaboration banners also keep pity separate from Lucilla and Cartethyia.

Do collaboration pulls carry over to normal banners?

No. The collaboration and ordinary limited-character systems have separate currencies and pity records. Check the in-game Convene details for the exact carryover and expiration rules within the collaboration category.

Is 106 pulls enough to guarantee a featured character?

Not from zero pity if all resources are combined indiscriminately. A featured-character guarantee can require up to 160 pulls, and several of the 106 estimated pulls are locked to permanent or weapon banners.

Final Thoughts

Wuthering Waves 3.4 is generous, but its generosity is spread across several wallets. The estimated 106 F2P pulls look impressive, yet the most important planning decision is not the grand total. It is deciding how much Astrite belongs to the collaboration banners and how much must remain for Lucilla, Cartethyia, or future updates.

Claim Rebecca for free, collect the 20 Dreamcatcher Tides, wait until the full banner lineup is live, and calculate each pity track independently. That approach turns Version 3.4 from a crowded temptation into a manageable pull plan.
